Winthrop is home to the Winthrop Charter Elementary School, Winthrop Charter Middle School, and the Hillsborough Community College Riverview Campus at The Regent. 

Winthrop Charter Elementary & Winthrop Charter Middle Schools are tuition-free public charter schools serving students in grades K – 8th.
